Kenya is known for its diverse range of ecosystems and communities. Despite its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, Kenya has faced numerous challenges, including political instability, poverty, and environmental degradation. However, recent efforts to promote sustainable development and conservation have shown promise in preserving the country's unique ecosystems and communities for future generations.

This Project aims to:

  • Rehabilitate a 50ha piece of indigenous forest that has been previously impacted by overgrazing, vandalism and drought.

  • Plant 50’000 indigenous trees over the course of 2023

 
 

Latest updates

  • The nursery has been set up and 70,000 seedling have been potted before they can be planted within the rehabilitation zone

  • A water pump has been purchased to allow for water to be extracted from the nearby river for the nursery

  • 15’000 trees planted

 
  • Offering aid to the community where the transport of water is a challenge
